We have an offer of free community workshops to help anyone interested in setting up a social or community enterprise who is either based in Broadland or planning to deliver a service which benefits the district. You are also welcome if you're already up and running but need some support.

The programme starts with a taster session on October 18th on Exploring Entrepreneurship 10 am - 12 pm. Eight Wednesday morning workshops follow on 9.30 am - 1 pm and include;

  • Business and financial planning (inc legal structures)
  • Bid writing
  • Marketing

Plus practical sessions to address all the scary bits of starting up!

The programme is suitable for any individuals or groups interested in going down this route whether they are just thinking about the possibility or are existing community groups needing to become financially sustainable.

It offers practical support in a relaxed environment and you can either book onto the whole series or pick and choose the workshops which will help you.

All workshops will be at Carrowbreck House,  Carrowbreck Road, Hellesdon, Norwich, NR6 5FA (parking onsite).
